Area Sales Manager (South East) £40-£60K Permanent + Annual Bonus + Excellent Benefits, Home based, would need to be able to work in Wincanton (Head Office) occasionally.  We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join our client's team.

You will be responsible for sales of Electrical and Lighting to customers in London and across the South-East of England. As an experienced Area Sales Manager you will need to be able to work a database of existing clients as well as generating new opportunities. Your role will be varied, but will include:

• Working to financial targets by generating sales opportunities both with existing customers and new. 
• Measure,monitor record sales performance against agreed financial targets.
• Attend ILP/HEMSA and other relevant meetings/exhibitions as company representative; to strengthen customer relationships.
• Support of Company events with customer nominations and attendance as required. 

As an experienced Sales Manager you will bring you experience of developing, consulting and selling products to maximise your opportunities. As an Area Sales Manager you must be able to demonstrate:

• An organised, presentable and well motivated individual.
• Demonstrable and well-established sales skills.
• Experience of Customer Account Management.
• Track record of selling in street lighting and/or electrical market.
• Experience and involvement in Local Authority or other tenders.
• Prepared to stay away overnight occasionally when required for meetings, exhibitions etc.
• No more than 6 points on driving licence.
