Electrical Design Engineer  Wincanton  Permanent £35 -£40K

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our client's friendly team in Wincanton. This is a full time position, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

You will have the ability, experience and enthusiasm to design power distribution equipment, principally for street lighting and EV projects, providing technical support to Clients, our Sales and Production teams, as well as actual panel building if necessary.

Essentially, the successful candidate will have a recognised electrical qualification or relevant experience and aptitude for design using Auto Cad packages and working to ISO 9001.

You will also have the ability to design and develop electrical systems and/or components to high specifications, focusing on cost, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability

Ability to travel to site and knowledge of mechanical design engineering, would both be an advantage.
