Job Description

We are looking for a Transport Coordinator for this great company that looks after their staff, very friendly environment.

Hours are 10am till 6pm

37.5 hours a week

21k a year



To assist members of staff within the team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the transport team are operating compliantly and efficiently. This role will ensure the delivery and fulfilment of relevant team targets and KPI’s and support the Transport & Warehouse Manager in the delivery of daily administration tasks. Additionally, you will deliver high levels of service to customers in relation to outlet deliveries of Beer, Wine, Spirits and Soft Drinks, whilst closely managing costs




People Management

  • Handle staff related issues in a swift, decisive manner to prevent escalation.
  • Complete daily debriefing of drivers relaying relevant information to Stakeholders
  • Assist department staff with data entry and daily admin roles


  • Ensure all transport personnel are operating safely and efficiently, whilst maintaining a co-operative relationship with other all other employees.
  • Asses daily workstreams and allocate tasks fairly across the team to ensure all workloads are complete.
  • Communicate to other departments heads where you feel improvements could be made where issues are raised within the transport process

Health & Safety

  • Monitor Health and Safety to ensure that all health and safety procedures are known and followed by all warehouse personnel
  • Maintain the accident record book and report any H&S deficiencies to the Health and Safety Officer and make recommendations


  • Communicate any key messages and be the conduit between the transport and warehouse manager and the team as well as other key stakeholders. 
  • In an event of an emergency, you will take the correct actions to resolve the issue and escalate to relevant stakeholders when necessary.
