Salary- £30,000 - £40,000 DOE Full Time Mon- Fri 9:00am-5:00pm with excellent benefits of

25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, pro-rata for part time employees.

5% Employer Pension contribution

Are you an experienced Marine Acoustician?

Due to business growth and current capacity we are looking to recruit an underwater acoustic engineer / consultant to undertake project consultancy work, including monitoring, analysis and modelling.

What your day will consist of

The role requires a combination of consultancy and research and development, providing advice on Marine acoustics to a wide range of Clients in renewables, oil and gas and other marine industries. Opportunity to work on a diverse array of projects both technically and geographically, and at various stages in the project life cycle so having flexible approach would be essential.

Involving a variety of tasks such as assessing the effects of underwater sound on marine life. Undertaking detailed acoustic modelling and survey work, preparation of environmental assessments and technical reports while problem solving and providing advice to Clients.

Preferred Skills

Do you have Excellent computer programming, highly organised and able to manage own time and workload efficiently and are Good at problem solving and attention to detail
