Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Communications Officer to manage and develop communications activity with internal and external customers through a variety of means.

This is a 3 month initial full time contract.

Your main responsibilities will include but won’t be limited to:

  • Developing and co-ordinating communication, engagement and marketing strategies.
  • Being a representative of the service, attending and chairing meetings and groups reporting on key communications issues.
  • Working with other internal officers, identifying communication requirements.
  • Developing partnerships and working with stakeholders.
  • Providing training and support where appropriate to ensure communications materials are consistent and of a high quality.
  • Lead and manage the consistent implementation of their identity/branding framework in communications material.

About you:

  • Hold an NVQ Level 4 (vocational or educational) or equivalent
  • Hold a first degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in a communications related discipline.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as a part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • You must have previous experience as a Communications Officer.
